On the day
Photo time & reception
The most fun part!
Your portrait session is a chance for you and your new spouse to connect, have fun and enjoy each others company! I’ll give you some direction so we can get a variety of images, but don't worry, theres no awkward posing.
Golden hour and sunset is usually the best time, or if its daylight savings we can duck out for some sunset shots during the reception.
The reception is your chance to eat, drink and be merry! I’ll be there for all the formalities like speeches, cake cutting and dancing and if you want to grab some fun shots with your friends.
Ceremony & Family Photos
The moment you say YES!
I let the ceremony unfold and Ill be there to capture every moment! I am always conscious not to stand in anyone's way or be distracting during the ceremony - I'm like a sneaky ninja. Many of my clients comment that they didn't even remember seeing me during the ceremony!
After everyone congratulates you, we can do a group photo if you like and then some family photos. I like to work with you to create a list so we can be organised and get through them efficiently.
Getting Ready & First Looks
Capturing the lead up to the "I do's"
This part of the day is about capturing moments as naturally as possible.
I usually arrive once you've had your hair and makeup done, and start with some detail shots (the flowers, the shoes, the something old etc), get some cute candid photos having a morning mimosa in your pj’s or robes, and then natural images of your loved ones helping you get ready.
It's also the perfect time to get some quiet portraits of you before stepping out the door. First Looks with Dad or even with your fiance before getting to the ceremony can also be a beautiful moment.
It’s important to find the right photographer for you. We will spend a great deal of time together on the day so it’s important that we connect. I hope to be there for all your milestones as a married couple.
